MOBILE MUSEUM

The mobile museum project's aim is to develop a capability to take military history to public audiences at venues outside the main museum in Kelowna. This will allow the museum to support events throughout the region and beyond such as Remembrance Day events and displays highlighting historical milestones. The mobile display concept will also allow the museum to support other museums, schools and organizations such as Legions, historical and veteran's associations in their activities.

When completed the mobile museum will serve as a mobile historical public facility much like a mobile library that will be able to take our military heritage directly to the public with items typically kept only in museum galleries or store rooms.
